she is now living in the Sierra Aracena near Fuenteheridios, and as far as I know still has horses. I had passed on your article to everyone in the horse world here (Spanish and English) when news broke as I have a friend in Medina who met her when she first moved there.

do you not think Jay Smith to be S.uzanne J.enkins.

also no-one had heard of her at the place she claims to have gotten her nutritional qualifications from….

Jay you make me as sick as the woman that is actually killing these poor creatures! If she knows so much about bloody nutrition and care of horses (via her ‘website’) why the hell are they dying! And if she couldnt afford to keep them what they are not telling you is there is a bunch of us that have donated money to help these defenceless animals and to bring them back to the UK where they belong!!!

I cant understand how you can even try and justify this!! unless you are ms Jenkins herself under a different name!!!! She deserves everything she gets and more, i would quite happily leave her in a field to dehydrate, starve and dye in one of the slowest and most painful ways you could imagine it is the least she deserves!!!!

and im guessiing her ‘real story’ you mentioned is a load of BULL!!!!!

There is simply no excuse for this appalling behavior.

Jay Smith, please understand that this woman had killed animals- she is a murderer. If you can understand that and worse, be at ease with that, then I fear for anyone in your presence.

I wish for a way to prevent such cases as in this day and age it just shouldn’t be tolerated.

There is no excuse for such suffering, if she looked hard enough she could of had some kind of help with the horses if she was struggling………But I think SHE needs help……maybe remove the heart of stone and give her a loving heart. I can`t believe someone could let this happen to such wonderful animals.

excuse me Jay… this is the girl who has a conviction for the mistreatment of horses in the UK… was described as “deluded” by a Judge… his words, not the paper’s… has had 16 horses die at her finca last summer, with an, as yet, unidentified number this summer… I don’t think that is hounding. I think that is called reporting on real stories… and very sad ones too. Well done OP!

I have to agree with this poor girl, I know what its like to be hounded and you have done nothing but slander her name, she knows all about feed and nutrition you can see on her website. See her real story. shame on you as a news paper
