WILD HORSES have been running loose through the streets of Algeciras.

Residents in the Los Pastores area have reported seeing seven horses rampaging through the streets knocking over bins and damaging plants.

Despite residents reporting the horses to the authorities, nothing has been done about the problem.

Residents claim that the horses pose a risk not only to their personal safety, but they might also cause traffic accidents.

In a separate incident, spectators fled in panic after a horse bolted during a procession through the centre of Jaen.

Seven people, including six children, were taken to hospital with injuries.
