OSSIE Ardiles sparked new life into English football when Tottenham Hotspur signed him after an incredible showing for Argentina at the 1978 World Cup.

Now, the former Spurs manager, is sparking new life into the Spanish property market by putting a huge four-bedroom villa up for sale in Marbella.

Ardiles, who owns other properties on the Costa del Sol, is selling the detached villa which overlooks La Quinta golf course.

The house has been reduced from two million euros to just 1.5 million for a fast sale.

I consider the term ”argie” to be gratuitously insulting and racist. Maybe a raghead will buy it.

What on Earth’s racist about the word ‘Argie’!? It’s just an abbreviation, like the word ‘Brit’ or ‘Scot’!

The same as the word ‘Paki’, it’s classed as racist… but guess what, ‘Brit’ is not, the UK and the rest of Europe is going nuts because we have to listen to them and their rights… welcome to Europe.

I was, of course, being humorous. We have now achieved a ridiculous PC level. Look at this Lisa Aziz racial insult nonsense at ITV and a colleague impersonating Sir Trevor McDonald. I posted on The Times about John Cole and his amazing Belfast accent which was a satirist’s dream. Loosen up and get a sodding sense of humour.

Sorry Gwilym, your ‘Welsh’ sense of humour went over my head! (Am I allowed to say that?).

Sure can. If I had a pound for every time I’ve been called a fat Welsh bastard and my mother was English!
