I’m sherry inspired

THE world’s most influential wine critic is to come to Jerez for his first trip to Europe in over 20 years.

American Robert Parker – who owns the key publication Wine Advocate – has previously shunned travel to Europe, in part due to a fear of terrorism.

However, he has changed his opinion and announced he will be attending the WineFuture conference to be held in Jerez in November.

The normally reclusive critic will discuss the future of the wine trade with other industry heavyweights.

His attendance is certain to put Andalucia firmly on the world wine map.

Other experts attending include seasoned British wine journalists Jancis Robinson and Steven Spurrier.

  1. Nice story, but a quick google would have told you the WineFutures conference this year is in Logroño, which is quite a long way from Jerez and Andalucia!

  2. Please send me details of this Conference, as I have been working within The Wine Trade for 15 years as a Distributor both in the UK & Ireland and I may Attend
