AVE Maria for Sagrada Familia
September 30, 2009 • National News • 0 Comments
|
THE Sagrada Familia could could soon be sitting above an underground AVE high-speed train line.
As thousands of tourists attempt to negotiate the cathedral’s notoriously windy staircase to the summit, hundreds more may be passing directly underneath at speeds reaching 350 kmh.
As a result, five National Audience judges will soon pay an impromptu visit to Spain´s second city to decide whether the creation of the subterranean line is a realistic proposal.
