• SUPPORT: New group aims to give local commerce much-needed plug |
A GROUP of expatriates living and working in the Guadiaro valley, near Ronda, have got together to promote their local businesses.
The prime objective of the group, which includes hotels such as Hotel Molino del Santo and restaurants such as Bar Allioli, is to draw attention to this little visited area.
Working together and pooling resources, they have launched a website www.secretandalucia.com to help promote themselves.
“It is written by local people for local people to raise awareness first and foremost,” explained Maxine Findlay, from Hotel El Gecko in Cortes de la Frontera.
