A Spanish MP responsible for road safety has been found drunk at the wheel.
Double the legal limit Nacho Uriarte, 29, crashed into a stationary vehicle at 7am in Madrid.
The Popular Party politician has resigned his post as the party’s road safety spokesman.
President of the Conservative Party’s youth wing Uriarte won a seat in the Spanish Parliament in 2008.
In a rapid court case the MP’s driving license was revoked.

Now I WILL go out on a limb here and say that this is unforgivable. When I’m driving I NEVER drink alcohol, not even a small glass of wine. It’s just not worth the risk in terms of losing points (or adding them in the UK) or having the death or injury of someone on your conscience.
How ironic (and scary) that this drunk is the Road Safety MP.
Like many politicians an embarassment and disgrace to his country.
