Political movement in Andalucia

AN expatriate has made a big step up on the Spanish political ladder.

Charlotte Wilmot, 36, from Swindon, became Ronda’s first English councillor.

The PSOE member of four years will now work in the delegation for foreigners.

Wilmot – who has lived in Spain for eight years – made the political leap after Maribel Morales left office.
