A riot of coloured umbrellas

AVOIDING the elements has been made easy in Cordoba with the installation of dozens of giant coloured umbrellas.

The new 11,900 square metre Centro Abierto de Actividades Ciudadanas, built by architects ParedesPino, has created a covered area for a new market two days a week.

The project is said to look like an urban forest and is equipped with artificial lighting providing an enchanting display in the evenings.
