Nick Clegg’s mobile Christmas

WITH a Spanish wife and three Spanish-named children we always knew British politican Nick Clegg was different.

But the deputy PM’s Christmas card this year was obscure in the extreme.

While his colleague David Cameron sent out a traditional card with a snap of him with his new baby Florence and Labour leader Ed Milliband did the same, Clegg sent out a family of gingerbread men.

Created by his children it shows ‘El Clegg’, as the Olive Press dubbed him this year, and wife Miriam with their children Antonio, Alberto and Miguel.

Poignantly the politician is seen holding his faithful mobile phone.
