But ex-Royal Navy Officer John Hutchinson has turned his attention to painting.
The Estepona based artist, who also worked as an English teacher in Sotogrande, paints local scenes in water colour.
“I have found a new sense of adventure in my painting and have started to observe my surroundings more carefully,” Hutchinson said.
His latest exhibition is being held at Estepona Port Business Centre from February 15 to March 14.
