• HEADLINERS: The Stone Roses will play Benicassim |
REFORMED rockers The Stone Roses have been confirmed as the headline act at this year’s Benicassim Festival.
The Manchester band – best known for tracks including Fools Gold and I am the Resurrection – will be joined by Florence and the Machine and The Vaccines at the festival, from July 12-15.
Following the announcement, festival organiser Vince Power said: “I’m really looking forward to having them back at FIB (Benicassim) to watch, no doubt, an incredible performance.”
Meanwhile, Coldplay’s much anticipated show in Madrid on May 20 has sold out, with all 50,000 tickets being snapped up by fans in just a single day.
