Taken identity in Spain

A MAN who spent 10 years posing as his former brother-in-law to escape the clutches of the law has finally been captured.

An arrest warrant was issued against the 52-year-old Velez-Malaga resident in April 2002 for ‘a crime against public health’.

But incredibly, he managed to evade police by taking over his former brother-in-law’s identity.

He was finally traced to the village of Chilches working for an electricity company.
