Whitney Houston: 1963 – 2012

WHITNEY HOUSTON, who has died aged 48, was one of the world’s best-selling artists in the 1980s and 1990s. By the time she was 36 she had sold more than 100 million records.

The troubled singer, who had battled with drug addiction, was found in her hotel room on the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton.

In September 1991 she brought her “I’m Your Baby Tonight World Tour” to La Coruña in Spain.
