A NatWest bank survey has estimated there to be 940,000 Britons living in Spain, ranking the size of its British expat community third after Australia and the US.

  1. According to the INE (National Statistics Institute), we are around 360,000. This is because so many of us don’t register on the ‘padrón’ – the town hall registry.
