Mijas Town Hall has started taking applications for the second round of its programme aimed at providing six-month cleaning and maintenance jobs for the unemployed.

  1. Alright, it’s only “make work” but presumably people will be paid for doing it. Contrast it with the U.K. where folk are now pressured to work in poundshops etc. for no pay at all. It’s called “work experience”. Except there’s no pay experience to go with it.
