TWO cyclists died this morning after being hit by a car on the A384 near Campillos.

Both of the deceased, aged 34 and 55, were from Ronda and town hall officials have announced two days of mourning.

Emergency services were quickly on the scene – just before midday – but could do nothing to save the victims who were declared dead at the road side.

The 21-year-old driver of the car – also from Ronda – was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He will appear in court tomorrow.
