New app offers UK children’s programmes in Spanish

CHILDREN in Spain will now be able to watch some CBeebies programmes with the help of a new app.

Designed and launched by BBC Channels Worldwide, CBeebies On the Go, is aimed at pre-school children to help them learn Spanish.

Video clips of programmes such as Baby Jake and Las Incredibles Aventures will be available as well as other interactive games.

It is free and can be downloaded onto iOS devices.

The app has already proved a success in Australia and Asia where it was launched in 2011.
