IT COULD have been a child’s first school play, with a proud mother watching, exhilarated from the crowd.

It was, however, Enrique Iglesias, and he was staring in Marbella’s Starlite festival as part of his international tour.

And perhaps it was a quick pep talk from his mum, Isabel Preysler, which caused a delay in the start of the singer’s concert.

Over an hour late to the stage, he still managed to wow the crowds with classics Tonight, Escape and Dirty Dancer.

Dressed down for the performance, Enrique threw aside all formalities as he headed into the crowd, letting the audience touch him, give him gifts and take pictures.

The audience roared as he began to sing the international hit Hero – pausing for everyone to get out their mobile phones.

This was the first time Enrique had performed at Starlite, following rumours he would sing with his father, Julio.

The feud between the pair is legendary, with Enrique publicly commenting on his disdain for his father’s lecherous ways.

The family may not have reunited on stage, but Enrique’s proud mum led the standing ovation at the end of her son’s set.

I like his spanish music and some of his english music but he has changed alot and i do not like his girlfriend she is also rude. He also looks very bad and old since last time i saw him in Spain, sorry but i speak the truth. As for your information about his father, That is not true. They speak and are on good terms.
