AN expat photographer has undertaken a year-long project to snap a different coffee cup every day.

Inspired by the Spanish love of coffee, Malaga-based Moade Khan decided to launch the project in a public gallery on Facebook.

The French photographer, who trained at London’s Kingston College of Art, has posted 330 photos to date.

Most pictures have been taken here in Spain, although he has snapped a few while on his travels. They feature different people, places, and objects, but all have one thing in common: a steaming cup of coffee.

  1. Sort of on topic after the first comment (even though it was sarcastic), but why do a lot of Brits come to Spain then cast judgement on other ex pats lives and what they should be involved in? They wouldn’t do this to their neighbours back in the uk (or even talk to them).

Why are there ex-pat slanging matches all the time? Some sneering at other ex-pats in public – people they barely know.

    WHY IS THIS?

It’s also the reason a lot of ex-pats prefer their Spanish locals.

  2. These negative comments are completely ignorant. Shame on you.

The whole point of this Artistic Project is to remind people (who are willing to open their minds), that’s its important to take a moment everyday to enjoy something. Life goes by fast so take the time to enjoy it.

Moade chose coffee because in Spain, Málaga in particular, has various names for different types of coffee configurations. This inspired Moade to use this coffee platform to pay homage to the vity we now live in.

I think its a great show of an Expat wanting to learn more and respect the country they are living in.

Moade is also a great contributor to charities and animals. That has nothing to do with this project. Maybe Christopher hasn’t learned to multi-task.

As far as schooling at Kingston College… Again… Ignorant comment by PM. This isn’t the ONLY thing he is a part of.

Art is in the eye of the beholder…

You don’t have to understand it or like it… but you don’t have to be so negative.

What do you people do that’s so extraordinary that make you the authority here?

Don’t comment if you are going to be ignorant.
