Journalist compiles collection of Spain’s loco laws

strange laws

DON’T park your car in the same place for more than five days in Sevilla, don’t have chickens at home in Alcudia, Mallorca, and, above all, don’t feed the pigeons in Bilbao or you’ll face a €750 fine.

Don’t skateboard in Torremolinos, don’t give money to beggars in Valladolid and don’t smoke in the sea in Mogan, in the Canaries.

These are just a few of the weird and wonderful local rules that are rife in every region of Spain, according to journalist Francisco Canals, who has compiled a book on it.
