THE UK Government has announced that driverless cars will be allowed on public roads from January 2015.
Spain appears to be lagging behind the Brits, as the new technology has not been approved here yet.
However, Swedish company Volvo famously tested a semi-autonomous ‘train system’ on a 124 km stretch of Barcelona highway in 2012.
This train system, called SARTRE (Safe Road Trains for the Environment) trails a string of driverless cars behind a manned truck.
Volvo hopes to release the technology by 2020 across the continent for public use.
Most Spanish cars in action appear to be driverless anyway.

Do a bit of googling Rob. Educate yourself. These vehicles will be on U.K. roads from this January. The Google version has already covered 300,000 miles in California. It is the future and is closer than you think. Good thing too, after observing the kamikaze driving in Spain.
Rob this cars will be much safer to meet then the cars we meet today with a driver in it.
