Marbella’s Starlite festival welcomes back Julio Iglesias for the third year in a row

SPAIN’S legendary singer, songwriter, and performer Julio Iglesias graced the quarry of Marbella with his presence at his third consecutive Starlite appearance.

As the only international artist to perform three times in a row at the festival, the 70-year-old songster opened his August 13 concert with “Amor amor”, and the crowd was instantly on their feet.

Fans packed the concert with enthusiasm with tickets being sold out for weeks beforehand, attracting big names like Madrid mayor Ana Botella.

Iglesias took his audience on an emotional rollercoaster, expressing his gratitude for their continued support and confessing he ‘sings to continue living.’

Before closing out the concert, Iglesias professed his patriotism by clutching a Spanish flag given to him by a fan whilst he sang “Vuela amigo”.
