SPAIN’S Ebola-infected nurse is ‘stable’ again, just hours after authorities described her condition as critical.

But Teresa Romero Ramos remains in a serious condition, according to a spokesperson for the Carlos III hospital in Madrid.

Javier Rodriquez, Madrid’s regional government health chief, announced yesterday that Romero was in a critical condition after taking a turn for the worse.

Romero is the first known case of Ebola outside West Africa, after contracting the virus while treating a repatriated Spanish missionary who died four days later.
