Sevillian company Abengoa to build multi milion power plant in Kuwait

A SPANISH company has won a major contract from Kuwait to set up a new multi million Euro power plant.

Sevillian power supply and construction company Abengoa has secured a massive €21 million contract to develop a huge power transmission project in the Kuwaiti capital, Kuwait City.

Abengoa will be in charge of designing, constructing and operating three high-tension electricity lines to extend for 86 kms across the city.

Abengoa currently provides over 25,000 kms of power transmission and distribution lines in 80 countries around the world.
