A 24-year-old man has been arrested in Almeria for beating his neighbour’s dog to death.

The Spanish man first set his German Shepherd on the elderly woman’s dog, before kicking it to death himself.

Tragically, she had adopted the dog from her grand-daughter who died earlier this year in a car crash.

Vet Juan Manuel Taboada said: “I have never since such a bloody, merciless killing of an animal.”

  1. Disgusting Neanderthal, He MUST get Jail time not just a slap on the wrist ! I know Spanish are cruel to dogs which is why so many expats with space have so many dogs.
Definately Jail time so that message goes out that this is not
    acceptable behaviour !

  2. Nasty piece of work who should definitely go to prison. If he is capable of a violent crime like this, he is likely to commit another violent offence – this incident is unlikely to be a one-off.
