IT seems that the end of Terry Gilliam’s epic fifteen-year-struggle to film The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is still nowhere near the horizon.
Filming was scheduled to start at the beginning of January in the Canary Islands but has once again been pushed back.
“It’s been delayed, right now he’s in the UK working on other things,” said a source from production company Nostromo Pictures.
After Johnny Deep and Ewan McGregor, the lead role is currently claimed by former Skins star Jack O’Connell and is to be produced by Adrian Guerra.

Are you sure about the january start date ? Last november the filming was announced for next spring.
Spain recently said it wants to set itself up as the film capital of Europe, or was it the world. It will have to try a bit harder!
