PABLO IGLESIAS – who leads the polls to be Spain’s next leader – smiled and waved for his expatriate followers in Spain.

The popular former university professor was visibly delighted by a shout from the Olive Press today to wave to ‘millions of expats also suffering in the recession in Spain’.

Smiling and waving he laughed and mouthed the word “hello”.

The March got underway peacefully and thousands lined the roads to see – and photograph – their hero.

There were fanatical and incredible scenes, as over 200 journalists from around the world attempted to talk to the leader and get pictures.

  1. I hope he will come out and clearly state his party’s policies regarding the so called illegal property situation in Andalucía. This toxic issue needs to be debated before the regional election in March and if he brings it to the table, it might bang the other parties into shape and raise the profile.
