UPDATE: No serious injuries in Marbella A-7 crash

NO serious injuries occurred after a refuse lorry overturned on the A-7 near Marbella yesterday morning.

The collision, at 4:15 in the morning, did however cause 12km tailbacks in both directions.

The lorry was lifted off the road by two cranes by 11:30, but all lanes were not fully re-opened until 13:00.

It is not known what caused the lorry to veer off the road.
