A FORMER Gibraltar police officer has been charged with possession of indecent images of children.
With the assistance of Interpol, British national, Richard Jimenez, was arrested after police searched his home and workplace.
Father of two, 47-year-old Jimenez has been charged with five counts of possession of indecent images, but is back on the streets after meeting the £1000 bail.
Jimenez, who now works as a security guard, has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
He has had to surrender his passport as part of his bail agreement and will appear in Magistrates Court to face trial.
