Shaking off the ‘lazy’ label harshly attributed to under 25s, Spain’s unemployed teens and 20-somethings are the most active in the job market.

According to a report by international recruitment agency, Randstad Workmonitor, 19% of unemployed under-25s are actively seeking work, compared to 16% of 25-to-45-year-olds and only 10% of those over 45.

Clubbing all age groups together, just 14% of Spain’s unemployed are actively looking for work.
