SPAIN is on high terror alert after the terrorist attacks in France and Tunisia.

Interior Minister Jorge Diaz confirmed that Spain had increased the terror alert from medium to high after at least 38 tourists were killed.

“Considering the proximity of our country to the places where some of these attacks took place, it has been proposed to raise the anti-terrorist alert from three out of five, to four,” he said.

At least 30 British tourists lost their lives in the attack on Spanish-owned hotel, the Imperial Marhaba in the Port El Kantaoui resort.

While in France, a man killed one person and injured several others at a gas factory.

The deadliest terrorist attack in Spain took place in Madrid in 2004 when over 190 people died in coordinated train bombings.
