The opposition PP party is demanding the town hall releases documents detailing his six-month position as an administrative assistant, to check the legality of the appointment.

Arrabal claims that the process was entirely legal, and that her husband went through the interview process before she came to power.

She added that he actually came third, but after the top two candidates dropped out he got the job.
