Black ball plummets from space to Spain and lands in farmers' field

MYSTERY surrounds a black ball that hurtled from space into a Spanish field.

The orb was discovered by goat farmers in Murcia with the Guardia Civil believing it fell from a rocket or satellite.

SPACE ODDITY: Ball lands in Spanish field

Investigators have said it isn’t radioactive and could be a pressurised gas container.

The space sphere has been taken away for further analysis.
