TORRE del Mar’s streets are smelling of roses after the deputy mayor’s latest splurge.

The town hall is waging war on stinky smells by perfuming its streets with a vehicle that releases a pleasant-smelling substance on the road.

The investment, from a local start-up, will transform 200 pongy streets across town, with ten streets scented per day.

Residents can call upon the service via social media or over the phone.

  1. Most ridiculous idea of the year award surely? The mayor should sort out the pongy streets rather than mask the smells. Great advert for Torre del Mar tourism lol.
