CAR sales recorded a seven-year high in Spain last year.
The association of Spanish car producers (ANFAC) confirmed that 2015 was the best for new car sales since 2009, with 1,034,232 units sold.
December alone saw 88,609 new cars sold, a 20% year-on-year increase, and the 28th consecutive monthly rise.
Wait a minute, they are all supposed to be skint and I had heard that all the black money was spent long ago – Spain, as always.

Car sales are up because mortgages are back. Spain is one big toxic debt hole. Never buy a new car in Spain, it’ll lose more value than your house!
And you’d be mad to buy a s/hand car in France. If only ordinary Europeans would use what little benefit the EU is to them, they would learn to look outside their national boundaries as I do. I actually prefer to buy from the USA, China or Taiwan, very rarely do I buy inside Europe and when I do I tend to buy from Germany because the Germans like the Americans demand value for money.
It used to be a no brainer to look to buy a new car in Denmark, Belgium or Germany.
