Holidaying Brit pronounced dead near to celebrity Marbella beach club in suspected drowning

A BRITISH man has died on a beach outside a popular Marbella beach club.

Holidaymaker Jeffrey Dobson, 76, is believed to have drowned in the sea outside celebrity hangout Ocean Club.

Paramedics attempted to revive him after pulling him out of the water but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

His wife is understood to have been on the beach at the time of the tragedy near to the villa where they were staying.

The couple had not been visiting the beach club and the beach area where he died is public property.

Ocean Club is a popular destination with reality TV stars and Premier League footballers.
