SPANIARDS are moving abroad in the highest numbers ever according to new figures released by Spain’s Office of National Statistics.

Almost 100,000 Sairport-1940x900_36386paniards left the country in 2015, the highest number since the beginning of the economic crisis in 2008 and a 23% increase from the previous year.

The most popular countries for Spanish emigrants looking for opportunities abroad were Britain, France, Germany, and the United States.

The majority of emigrants, 12,263 people, chose to move to Britain.

While many Spaniards are heading abroad, the number of foreigners moving to Spain (291,387) is more than the number of foreigners leaving the country (253,069), for the first time since 2010.

And for the fourth year in a row, more deaths than births and more emigration than immigration caused Spain’s population to drop for the fourth year in a row.

  1. So what? In 2015 about 150,000 Germans left Germany and 120,000 returned to Germany.
2 Million foreigners moved into Germany (therof 685,000 from EU countries) while 860,000 left Germany (thereof 303,000 to EU-countries).
Net immigration to Germany in 2015 was 1,1 Million pax, therof from EU countries = 382,000.

Compared to these figures, net-immigration of EU citizens in 2015 into the UK was 184,000 people, which was the main reason for the Brexit.

Conclusion: “Nazis” love foreigners, “Democrats” are afraid of aliens?
