Shortage of skilled workers holding back economic recovery in Spain

Workmans Comp e

Workmans CompSPANISH companies are struggling to fill posts in the country with the second highest unemployment rate in Europe.

Modern companies are simply unable to find sufficient numbers of workers with the necessary skills.

The workforce does not have the qualifications the market needs and this is due to flaws in the education system.

Spain has not invested enough in technology in schools and English education.

There are not enough digital professionals to fill lower positions even when the top posts are filled.

The skill shortage hurts the profitability and productivity of companies looking to hire Spanish workers.
