MORE than 100 health and education professionals attended a children’s mental health conference in Axarquia.
Put on by the Mental Health Clinical Management Unit, the event focused on ways to help children and adolescents from the region.
Taking place at the Malaga-Axarquia Health Area, groups were separated into four tables, with each one discussing a particular theme related to mental health.
These included drug consumption, the benefit of primary education, and facing difficulties in adolescence.
