THE body of a newborn baby has been found at a recycling plant in Granada.

Reportedly, between the ages of eight or nine months, the lifeless body was found inside a bag by workers at the plant in Alhendin.

The infant has now been transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine of Granada for an autopsy to determine how the child died.

Guardia Civil officers are now investigating the identity of the baby’s mother in an attempt to understand what happened.
