THIS is the moment a British expat auditioned for Spain’s X Factor.

Last night’s episode saw Carlene Murphy perform her best rendition of Palmoa Faith’s Upside Down.

Murphy, who has lived in Mallorca for the last 20 years, is part of an ABBA tribute act on the island.

The expat, from Windsor, near London, is the daughter of the man behind the Spice Girls.

She tells the judges how her father put an advert in the newspaper advertising for a new girl band, and the rest is history.

Unfortunately Risto and the judges were less impressed by her performance.
