SPAIN is officially one of the most welcoming countries for refugees.

According to a new study by the Pew Research Centre, 86% of Spaniards support those arriving in Spain after ‘fleeing war and violence’.

It was the highest percentage of 18 nations surveyed, including 10 European countries.

Only 13% of Spaniards would ‘oppose accepting refugees fleeing violence and war’.

Italy, Poland and Hungary were the least welcoming countries for refugees in Europe
