He is the Editor and publisher of The Olive Press. | | A Londoner, he studied Geography at Manchester University before falling in love with Spain during a stint teaching English in Madrid. After training at local weekly papers in London, he joined the Daily Mail as a news reporter, later becoming a feature writer at the Mail on Sunday and briefly News Editor at Now Magazine. | | In 2003 he moved to Spain, eventually helping set up the Olive Press, now the country's most popular English-language newspaper. He was the first national newspaper journalist on the scene of Madeleine McCann's disappearance and has investigated the case for over 15 years, also authoring books on it and other crime stories. | | Walter Finch is Digital Editor of the Olive Press. | | Born in London and well-travelled, having lived in six countries, he studied Philosophy at the University of Birmingham before earning his NCTJ journalism diploma from News Associates.
