THE Costa del Sol is set to be battered by rain on Wednesday.
Despite potential highs of 22°C, the coast is expected to see heavy clouds and rain on Wednesday.
The worst of the downpour is set to begin at 6:00pm, with rain and rain showers then continuing in most areas until Monday.
There is also a yellow warning issued by AEMET further down the coast in Granada and Almeria.
Later in the week temperatures are expected to drop, with Thursday and Friday potentially seeing lows of 12°C .
Meanwhile, AccuWeather predicts thunderstorms beginning on Friday.
