A VIDEO which has gone viral online appears to show Spanish police shooting at a car in Marbella.
The short clip, believed to have been recorded in Puerto Banus last night, shows several Policia Local officers run towards a black car as it speeds off near the Tibu nightclub.
They can then be seen aiming and shooting at the vehicle while onlookers can be heard gasping in shock.
The video has been widely shared on local groups and was uploaded by Manuel Fernández Valdivia.
Valdivia said: “Luckily, Marbella said that this type of tourism and crime were no longer committed in the municipality.
“Puerto Banus last night. Judge for yourselves.
“Well done to Policia Local who with so few means and personnel fulfill their duty to protect the citizens.”
Policia Local refused to comment when contacted by the Olive Press but a spokesperson did not deny the events took place in the early hours of this morning.
Unless those police officers were being shot at by the occupants in the vehicle, I would think they are breaking several Spanish and EU laws by firing their weapons in a built up and heavily populated area like PB…
