Tranberg
EL FIN: For Finnish former gang boss Tranberg

A FORMER Finnish gang boss has reportedly been captured on the Costa del Sol after going on the run for two years.

Janne ‘Nacci’ Tranberg was arrested in Estepona on Monday more than two years after he was sentenced to jail time.

Tranberg, former leader of the Cannonball gang, was arrested on an European Arrest Warrant.

He failed to serve 649 days in prison after being charged with gross tax evasion.

He was also arrested after being convicted of another crime in absentia at Helsinki District Court, according to respected Finnish newspapaer Sanomat.

It will take between two weeks and a month to extradite Tranberg to Finland.

He was captured thanks to collaboration between Spanish and Finnish police.

Cannonball MC was a motorcycle club and criminal gang founded in 1991 and many of its members were tied to a series of crimes, from aggravated assault and drug trafficking to various financial crimes.

The club broke apart in 2017 due to internal disagreements, sources in Finland say, however most members are believed to have joined other pre-existing clubs.
