Prelude to Semana Santa

PILGRIMS will converge on Chauchina, Granada, on April 9 to join the annual procession and festivities in honour of La Virgen del Espino.

It is the one day in the year when the statue of La Virgen del Espino is carried to the town’s cemetery where holy mass is celebrated.
