Columbian ‘hitmen’ killed at finca where woman was found dead with her throat cut exactly a year ago

THE owner of an isolated farm where two men were found dead on Saturday night claims he shot them in self defence.

Spaniard Manuel A was arrested after the bodies – understood to be those of two Columbian hitmen – were found lying in his garden
The owner of the farm in Alhaurin has been accused of murder after dispatching a number of shots at ‘point blank’ range at the pair.

Autopsies carried out on the bodies at the finca Los Naranjos, in Arroyo Gragea, Alhaurín de la Torre, have confirmed that they were shot at close range with a shotgun.

Neither man was carrying documentation and they have not yet been identified.

Some sources claim that they were carrying guns.

The incident happened late on Saturday night after which Manuel A called police admitting that he had shot the two men.

Forensic scientists in Sevilla are testing the bodies for gunpowder residue to determine if either of them shot at the suspect, who is now in custody.

The owner of the finca is reported to have claimed that he defended himself when the two men attacked his property.

But, what is mst bizarre is that his former partner was found floating in the couple’s pool almost exactly a year to the day.

Her throat had apparently been cut in the murder on April 20, 2008.

One theory detectives are pursuing is that the Columbians were hitmen who were coming to get paid after being contracted to kill his partner a year ago.

He had apparently only recently come out of a hotel where he had been ‘lying low’ in Cadiz.
