From bling to book

MOST people associate education in Marbella with knowing the difference between D&G and CK.

But all that is set to change in the bling capital of Europe, after the town launched Andalucia’s first English-speaking university.

Now visitors can swap shopping sprees and sunbathing with a three-year degree in subjects, including Public Relations, Journalism and Tourism.

Students, who begin courses in February, will benefit from a “stimulating, mind-opening curriculum”.

Apart from its buzzing nightlife, Marbella was also chosen for its proximity to Granada, Sevilla and Cadiz.

Perhaps inevitably, celebrities are being invited for their “collaboration and investment”.
